For preliminary round, the rules currently state "After the time has ended, the rider has 3 attemps [attempts*] to perform a last trick."

I'm pretty sure we've been using 2 attempts only as far as I can remember as it saves time and only you need to be consistant as fuck in your qualification run.

What do you guys think? I personally think 2 tries is perfect, 3 is too much and should only be reserved for battles.

I am also a fan of 2 attempts in qualifications. It helps to make the qualifications take less time and it also gives credit to consistent riders. 3 attempts in finals is nice because it encourages riders to go for bigger/harder tricks, but the qualifications are a less-attended event and the goal is really only to find the top riders for the finals.

Fully agree with everything being said here. 2 tries for prelim, 3 for battles.

Comment

I agree as well.

Comment

I also agree with this.

Comment

Yes to this.....

We could even go without a final trick for prelims. Save it all for finals.

Comment

Final tricks helps a lot to determinate who did better when 2 riders have a very close score. I wouldn't remove it from prelims.

Comment

Fair enough

Comment

I'm in favor of this.
