Deadline extension for hockey committee (Closed for comments)

I'm not sure if this is the right place for my request but I don't know
where else to put it. The current schedule says:
December 25 – last date to submit a proposal for voting
In the hockey committee, we currently have several very active
discussions which are quite close to consensus but need some more time
for fine tuning some details. It will be impossible to achieve that
within the next two days. Therefore, I would like to extend the hockey
discussion deadline to the end of January.

This sounds reasonable to me. I'm not sure about similar issues in other committees, but if Rolf's request is granted, I think it would be a good idea to extend the discussion deadline for all committees until end of January.
If this is decided by the powers that be, I hope this information will somehow be dissiminated.

The discussion deadline for all committees has been extended to January 15th. This has been emailed out to all committee members (and updated on the homepage here).
